This plant is better known as the Purple Butterfly of Purple Shamrock plant. Quite simply this is one on my favourite plants and why I grow so many of them! This plant is very hard to kill and will tolerate a wide variety of conditions if it is unhappy it will give you plenty of warning before giving up and even then it will almost certainly regrow from the tubers

- Pot up on arrival
- A small 9cm pot of moist general purpose compost ideal
- Plant tuber about 2cm deep with the growing point upwards.
- Dont worry if you cant work out which is the growing end - simply plant it laying on its side - it will grow just fine
- Keep in bright spot out of direct sun
- New growth should appear in a few weeks
