One of our most popular gowns!  We are rolling back the price temporarily to our old price....for Halloween or October orders, the time to get a custom order in is no!  This is our version of the Mina gown from Dracula.  Made from a lightweight faux silk in dark red.
This has a bodice that laces in back, with black grommets. We will include a modesty panel which gives you 2-4 inches extra so the bodice is adjustable. this is lined in a heavy black satin, has interfacing, and some boning. This is not a corset top, this is a bodice...This has ruffles added at neckline and bottom, a peplum in back...

There is a separate underskirt with big ruffle and ruching around bottom, slightly longer in back. We will include a slip that has a hoop at the bottom. There is a drape apron in front that ties in back. The bustle ties around the waistline, has bustling in back, and we have added a ruffle around the train.

This is a gorgeous gown, easy care fabrics and you will get a lot of use out of this gown!  Perfect for theme weddings, cosplay, gothic balls/parties, portraits, etc!  Images by Bernadette Newberry with Stacey Smith, and LeMewPhoto.

We are now offering a matching Mina cape which is lined in the same fabric, has a ruffle around the train, and a drawstring hood which can be worn as a hood or around the shoulders.  The matching cape is $250 when added to the gown.  We can do this in a variety of colors like black, purple, teal, royal blue, or light colors like white, ivory, champagne, pink, etc.  Just pick custom and then let us know the color you are after!  Allow time for your gown to be made, rush orders available for extra.  We will get your measurements from you after purchase.

Another good Benchmark Atlas
Format: Spiral-bound
We camp frequently and own all of the Benchmark Atlases. Although, this is different due to Canadian laws, we are excited to try it out! Very detailed with information, such as small campgrounds and identifying land ownership (Forest services or BLM)

Fascinating atlas. I am studying the southern part of of BC - retracing previous trips. Haven't been bored yet.

Memories of the Camino
Format: Paperback
First off, I have to say that my husband and I know Angela, the author. We met her because she is a neighbor of my sister, living in Hawaii. We discovered that she planned to walk the Camino de Santiago de Compostela the same year we were (2016) ! On a visit to Hawaii, we met with Angela and did a little local hike together. She was so enthusiastic and had prepared well. We, too, had been reading up and watching videos, getting suggestions as to what to bring, how to deal with physical issues and weather, what to pack and what not to pack, etc. Still, for anyone doing the Camino - whether the WHOLE 500 miles or doing the required 100 km to get the certificate at the final destination: Santiago de Compostela, Spain - it is a very personal endeavor. Reading Angela Leslee's book gives you the personal story of her "camino," and it is captivating. The changes that take place in her life - the discoveries she makes, the people she meets, the failures she feels, the fears, the habits that get broken (such as food choices!) - all make for an adventure that is life-changing and an interesting read. For anyone considering this pilgrimage, because that's what it is, this book will inspire you. You don't need to be part of a "group." You don't need a lot of plans. You do need to be prepared to be changed. The memory for myself and my husband is that it is the best shared experience we have had together in our 50 years of marriage! Angela's book brought back so many wonderful memories for us. I highly recommend this book.

Feeling Inspired!
Format: Paperback
Reading "The Way of Love" has inspired and encouraged me as I plan for my first (solo) Camino. I thank Angela Leslee for being unafraid to bare all the emotions in her book: the joys, victories, setbacks, disappointments, and pain. It's evident that "The Way of Love" was a labor of love as page after page recounts the 500 miles she walked! I told the author in an email that, in September, when I walk my Camino, I'll be sure to be up and out on the trail "...before sunrise when the yellow street lights cast their magical glow." Can't wait to experience that! "The Way of Love" -- easy to read and enjoy.

the good, the bad, the funny, the reality
Format: Kindle
A great memoir of an “older” woman walking the Camino de Santiago alone. Alone but with many friendships along the way.
