Design features include princess seams, inverted center front pleat, neckline facing, a-line silhouette, armscye binding, and an invisible zipper closure.
The PDF sewing pattern includes a variety of options. The dress can be made with short sleeves or sleeveless. It can also be made with or without the collar, which creates a variety of unique looks. Fabric choice will also play a part in the overall vibe of the piece. Use something like dupioni or taffeta for a special occasion holiday look, or a premium quilting cotton for an everyday schoolgirl type look. The possibilities are endless!
This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl®. This design is available separately for 14.5-15" dolls.
Suggested fabrics include: lightweight woven cottons, dupioni (silk or polyester), taffeta, voile.

- Bias Cut Binding Strips 3/4" wide (optional)
- One 7-9" Invisible Zipper
- Three 1/4" Buttons - (optional)
- Iron and Pressing Tools
- Hand Sewing Needle

What You Get: One 38 page sewing pattern that you digitally download as a PDF file so you can start your project immediately! The PDF sewing pattern provides full color step-by-step illustrated instructions and full size pattern pieces. This pattern includes a 2 page Summary of Instructions section so you can print out just the text version if desired to save on printer ink!
